300 Days

I can not believe Makenzie has been in the hospital for 300 days waiting for a new Heart and Kidney. It has been a long road and Kenzie can defiantly feel it somedays. Her Child life specialty and I decided to throw her a drive by parade with friends and family since this whole covid thing and people can't visit her.
It turned out pretty good she had a lot of people show up and give her support. A few of her friends and family got out of their vehicles to say hi but they had to stay distant so It was hard to see everyone leave and have to say bye to them.
Makenzie is so strong and is not giving up and wants to continue to live even though it has been a hard year for her. But she is defiantly ready to get that transplant so she can come home and be a normal teenager and play with her sibling and friends.
