4 years with out you

Four years ago today was the worst day of our lives. Four years ago marked the last time I held your sweet hand, kissed your cheek, and snuggled you. Nevertheless, I am living life to the fullest, just as you would have wanted, even on difficult days.

We celebrated your life today by having a Cafe Rio picnic up in the mountains, one of your favorite fast food restaurants. We also walked around Silver Lake, even though hiking wasn't your favorite activity, Dad always ended up carrying you. So, we carried a picture of you with us. Before we went on the hike a beautiful butterfly flew into the van and I knew it was a sign from you. I tried to get a picture but I was to slow. Thank you for showing up sweet girl

The kids went swimming, knowing how much you loved it, even if you only swam for a few minutes. Thanks Grandpa Lehwalder.

Later, we had a picnic at the cemetery and our forever friend Joselyn joined us. The kids had a silly string fight, which Joselyn Bravo Miller lost, 😄

Then I ate your favorite candy bar before bed, a Kit Kat.

We love you, sweet girl, and we are four years closer to being reunited with you. We are grateful that Kenzie is ours forever, and families can be together forever.

Monday we will be handing over the check to DonorConnect in honor of you.

Thank you to everyone who called or text with sweet messages and checking in on us, and bringing us beautiful lays! We love you all and couldn't do this life with out you.
