Cath Day

This is an unexpected cath since she just had one in May. Her heart decided to do some crazy stuff and caused concern of heart block and Coronary Artery Disease do to some results from her Halter Monitor. They wanted to do another cath to check her coronaries. This was one of my most nerve wracking Caths since there are concerns of CAD. Kenzie was 2nd case this time so we are able to sleep in until 8. About 5 a.m Kenzie woke up throwing up, she didn't seem well at all. So I told her to go back to sleep. 8 o'clock came around and she was still not feeling well. I decided to take her in anyways knowing that they may not do the cath that day. When we arrived and got checked in. She started getting worse she couldn't stay awake, she couldn't walk with out almost passing out. Thankfully the pre-op nurses decided to call cardiology and they came down, and new she was not herself. They finally decided to admit her and watch to see how she is later in the day with some fluids.
Later that day came around and she was still sick and sleepy. Even her lips were turning purple which was scary to see, but her vitals all looked good so they just kept watching her, and decided to put her on the schedule for the morning depending on how she feels.
The morning came and it was like night and day. She woke up happy and her self (it might have been from the blessing she received from her dad and uncle Tanner the night before)
She was scheduled for 11 a.m and when that rolled around and she went back I swear this was the longest cath ever. Finally 2 hours later I get the page that she is done, that walk back to the cath lab was one of the longest walks ever. Not knowing what was in store for Kenzie and how her heart and coronaries are doing, my heart was pounding out of my chest. Dr. Gray went over the results and to my surprise her pressures look better then in May, and her coronaries look amazing. My heart was happy and relieved that her heart is staying healthy and happy.
Now for the biopsy results, it takes about a day to get the results. Finally they came back and it was a big fat ZERO. Whhaaaat? She has been in mild rejection for almost 2 years now. That even made my heart even happier to know that she is doing so good.
Here is to a awesome Cath, Healthy Heart and Coronaries
We always appreciate the love and prayers we receive for Makenzie
