A poem for you!

To end National Donate life month.

Here is a poem for my sweet girl, Makenzie Dawn, that I've been working on this month

In the quiet whispers of the breeze,

Makenzie dances among the trees.

Her laughter echoes in the air,

A melody of joy beyond compare.

With apron tied and oven warm,

She bakes memories in each sweet form.

In flour's dust and sugared delight,

Her love for baking shines so bright.

Amongst friends and family, she found her place,

A smile that lit up every face.

With a heart as vast as the endless sky,

She touched souls, never asking why.

At sixteen months, a new lease on life,

A heart of courage amidst the strife.

Through every battle, she never waned,

In her, a spirit that forever remained.

Advocating for those in need,

Her compassion planted a selfless seed.

In her absence, her light still glows,

Guiding hearts through life's ebbs and flows.

Though parted from this earthly sphere,

Her love eternally near and dear.

In the hearts she touched, her legacy lives on,

Makenzie, forever our guiding dawn.

I love and miss you, Makenzie. Thank you for allowing me to be your mother and showing me the true meaning of living
